With the XMG FUSION 15, XMG presents the most portable model in its current FUSION lineup. This 15.3-inch aluminium laptop, weighing just 1.95 kilograms, serves as the Intel-based counterpart to the XMG CORE 15 and is equipped with a Core Ultra 7 255H processor. It is also the only XMG laptop offering the option of the GeForce RTX 5050 graphics card, alongside the RTX 5060 and 5070. Other key features include a high-resolution 1600p display with a 300 Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of brightness, a 99.8 Wh battery, support for up to 128 GB of RAM and 16 TB of SSD storage, an edge-to-edge keyboard with a full numeric keypad, and a comprehensive selection of external ports – including Thunderbolt 4.
The XMG FUSION 15 (L25) is the more compact and lightweight alternative to the 16-inch FUSION 16. Weighing just 1.95 kg and measuring 342 x 236 x 22 mm, its 15.3-inch aluminium chassis is noticeably smaller. XMG has also placed a stronger focus on energy efficiency and battery life in this model: instead of the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX found in the FUSION 16, the FUSION 15 is equipped with a Core Ultra 7 255H with 16 cores. Combined with a 99.8 Wh battery, this results in a runtime of over 10 hours when streaming YouTube videos – and even longer during light office use.
Uniquely within the XMG lineup, the FUSION 15 is available in a base configuration with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050. More powerful GPU options include the RTX 5060 and RTX 5070, and all three variants operate at NVIDIA’s maximum 115-watt power specification, including Dynamic Boost.
The dual-fan composite cooling system in the XMG FUSION 15 is identical to that of the AMD-based CORE 15. It uses two 70 mm fans to expel warm air through two rear-facing vents and heat sinks equipped with a total of 132 copper cooling fins. Both the CPU and GPU are cooled using high-performance Honeywell PTM7958 phase-change thermal pads. This efficient design ensures that the laptop delivers full graphics performance even under sustained load.

XMG FUSION 15: Power Limits with Core Ultra 7 255H and RTX 5070
The XMG Control Center provides extensive customisation options for fine-tuning performance. Users can adjust power limits for all three supported NVIDIA GPUs (50 to 115 watts, including Dynamic Boost) and the Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor (PL1: 10 to 90 watts), as well as define custom fan curves. These settings go beyond the predefined performance profiles and allow users to tailor the balance between power and acoustics to their individual preferences.
NVIDIA Optimus automatically switches between the integrated and dedicated graphics depending on the workload, but the Control Center also offers the option to disable this feature and run the system in either iGPU- or dGPU-only mode.
The XMG FUSION 15 features the same IPS display as the CORE 15, offering a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a brightness of 500 nits, 100% sRGB colour space coverage, and a fast 300 Hz refresh rate with Adaptive Sync support for smooth visuals.
In terms of memory and storage, the laptop supports up to 128 GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 16 TB of SSD storage. All components are socketed, allowing for easy upgrades via two SO-DIMM slots and two M.2 PCI Express 4.0 SSD slots. The Intel-based XMG FUSION 15 also supports CSO DIMM modules with 6400 MT/s. Pre-applied thermal pads on both the RAM and SSDs help maintain optimal temperatures and ensure consistent, sustained performance.
XMG has equipped the FUSION 15 with a wide range of external ports, many of which are located at the rear of the laptop. These include HDMI 2.1 (48 Gbps) and HDMI 2.0b (18 Gbps), a DP40-compatible Mini DisplayPort 2.1, Thunderbolt 4 with DP80-compatible DisplayPort 2.1 and 140-watt USB-C Power Delivery (20 V, 7 A), as well as the connector for the 240-watt power supply.
Additional ports on the sides include USB-C 3.2 Gen2 with DisplayPort 1.4a and 100-watt Power Delivery, three USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports, a Gigabit LAN port, a 2-in-1 audio jack for headset and microphone, and a fast, SD Express-compatible full-size SD card reader. Compared to the AMD-based CORE 15, the Intel-based XMG FUSION 15 also supports the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard.
Despite its compact 15.3-inch form factor, the laptop offers exceptional flexibility for multi-monitor setups, natively supporting up to five external displays alongside its internal screen. The HDMI 2.1 and Mini DisplayPort 2.1 interfaces are connected directly to the powerful NVIDIA dGPU for maximum performance, while the DisplayPort signals of the USB-C and Thunderbolt ports are routed through the energy-efficient Intel iGPU.
The keyboard of the XMG FUSION 15 is already well known from several other 2025 XMG laptops and is implemented in an edge-to-edge layout to make full use of the compact 15.3-inch chassis. It features concave keycaps, N-key rollover, anti-ghosting, and per-key RGB lighting, as well as a full-size numeric keypad and full-size arrow keys for comfortable input. The large glass-like Mylar touchpad measures 123 x 77.5 mm. A Windows Hello-compatible Full HD webcam with a physical privacy shutter is integrated into the top edge of the display.
