The SCHENKER DTR 15 manifests the unlimited performance and connectivity of a stationary desktop PC in the form of a mobile, 15.6-inch high-performance laptop. Combined with the latest NVIDIA graphics chips, Intel's latest desktop processors provide the ideal foundation for time-saving work on the most demanding projects.
For this reason, the SCHENKER DTR 15 also resolutely resists the trend towards ever thinner laptops, which, due to its design alone, is accompanied by restrictions in terms of maximum performance and the number of interfaces available. In its highest expansion stage, the device combines an Intel Core i9-9900K with an NVIDIA RTX 2080, allows the use of several SSDs and hard disks and, thanks to up to 64 GB RAM, does justice to the full-fledged desktop replacement concept.
This consistent approach is also reflected in the large variety of state-of-the-art USB, video, audio and network ports, which eliminate the need for costly additional adapters: The SCHENKER DTR 15 comes ex works with a considerable number of all required connections.
Frequent writers benefit from a backlit keyboard that ensures optimum legibility of the lettering even in dark environments. Compared to the professional devices of many competitors, the keyboard has an anti-ghosting function, which means that even when several keys are pressed simultaneously, there is no false triggering or misinterpretation of the inputs.
By using Intel's latest generation of desktop processors, the SCHENKER DTR 15 can for the first time provide the unrestricted computing power of up to eight CPU cores with maximum retrievable clock frequency. The high-end laptop thus masters even the most demanding load scenarios with flying colours. The highest expansion level provides for an Intel Core i9-9990K, whose eight cores can process up to 16 threads in parallel and work with a base clock rate of 3.6 GHz. Depending on the respective load scenario, the maximum achievable Turbo Boost frequency is 5.0 GHz in single-threaded applications.
NVIDIA RTX graphics chips outperform previous generations not only in computing power. At the same time, they offer new AI-based features for image enhancement, groundbreaking raytracing capabilities and Deep Learning Super-Sampling (DLSS). The models below the most powerful version RTX 2080 with 8 GB GDDR6 already offer a lot of performance to support you in special GPU-accelerated applications or for the visualization of demanding VR or AR environments.
The interior of the SCHENKER DTR 15 offers all conceivable upgrade options. These include not only four SO-DIMM slots for up to 64 GB of RAM, but also two M.2 and 2.5-inch slots for fast SSDs or large-volume hard disks. In contrast to a soldered counterpart, the plugged RAM ensures optimum ease of maintenance and expandability of the device. In addition, the possible SSD and HDD configurations offer maximum flexibility. If desired, the drives can be combined to form a RAID 0 or RAID 1 system.
In terms of external connectivity, too, the laptop is in no way inferior to a desktop PC and integrates numerous video and six USB ports - including two USB-C ports, one of which also serves as a Thunderbolt 3 port. Together with the integrated display, two Mini DisplayPorts and an HDMI output allow parallel operation of up to four monitors. An integrated card reader is ideal for fast data exchange, while an additional Ethernet port is provided for use in a wired network.
The Full HD display of the SCHENKER DTR 15 uses an excellent IPS panel and combines it with a fast refresh rate of 144 Hz to ensure fatigue-free, eye-protecting work even in long-term use. Moving 2D and 3D content is shown streak-free due to the high display speed, while the IPS technology trumps as a guarantor for a colour-intensive, high-contrast display and excellent black levels. The numerous external video ports allow the use of up to three additional external monitors and thus the parallel operation of a total of four displays.
