The XMG OASIS allows you to unleash your laptop’s full power potential in situations that demand maximum CPU and GPU performance. This is because components such as your processor and graphics card can maintain their maximum boost clock for longer.

How does the XMG OASIS work?

The XMG OASIS is simple and convenient to use, consisting of two components. The first is the external water-cooling system for laptops, which is designed similarly to an all-in-one (AIO) water-cooling system for desktop PCs. It features a pump, a radiator with a fan, and a water reservoir, all housed in a compact, lightweight chassis. This means you can easily carry it in your backpack together with your laptop if required.

The second component is a water pipe located inside every OASIS Ready laptop. This pipe is connected to the laptop's heat pipes and absorbs the heat generated by its components. Cold water is fed from the connected XMG OASIS through the water pipe into the laptop’s cooling system, where it is then pumped back out again to be cooled down by the external liquid cooling system.

The OASIS water cooling system for laptops does not replace your notebook’s standard air cooling system; rather, it enhances its cooling capacity as soon as you connect it to your XMG laptop.

Easy setup, intelligent fan control

The XMG OASIS can be easily connected to any compatible laptop. Setup is incredibly simple, and a bottle of distilled water is included with every water-cooling kit. Intelligent fan control ensures seamless coordination between the OASIS and your laptop. The laptop automatically detects when the water cooling system is connected in the XMG Control Center and then adjusts the speed of the laptop fans, as the OASIS takes over the main workload from this point onwards.

XMG OASIS is compatible with both the latest and older laptops

XMG unveiled the first generation of its laptop water cooling system in early 2021. The current OASIS Mk2 is compatible not only with XMG’s latest high-end laptops, but also with older models. XMG offers the device with four versions of tubing (V1, V2, V3 and V4) for connection to the notebook:

• For laptops from the 2025 model year: The XMG OASIS Mk2 with V4 tubing is compatible with the XMG NEO 16 (E25) and XMG NEO 16 (A25).
• For laptops from the 2023 model year: The XMG OASIS Mk2 with V3 tubing is compatible with the XMG NEO 16 (E24).
• For laptops from the 2023 model year: The XMG OASIS Mk2 with V2 hoses is compatible with the XMG NEO 16 (E23), XMG NEO 17 (E23) and XMG NEO 17 (E24).
• For laptops from the 2022 model year: The XMG OASIS Mk2 with V1 hoses is compatible with the XMG NEO 15 (M22), XMG NEO 16 (M22), XMG NEO 17 (M22) and XMG CORE 15 (M22).

In the laptop configurator for compatible notebooks from the XMG NEO series, you can easily select the XMG OASIS as an optional accessory at bestware. Alternatively, you can purchase the water-cooling system separately and retrofit it to an existing compatible laptop.
