SCHENKER VISION 14 and VISION 16 (Pro): Lightweight, performance-focused premium ultrabooks of the latest generation
Leipzig, 23 May 2023 – SCHENKER’s premium VISION ultrabook series is making the switch to Intel’s Core i7-13700H and is also receiving a graphics card update. Alongside the VISION 16 Pro, which features a GeForce RTX 4070 or 4060, the VISION 16 is available exclusively in a configuration featuring Intel’s Iris Xe GPU. The VISION 14, with a 99 Wh battery and 3K display, offers a choice between a model with Iris Xe and a GeForce RTX 3050 Refresh. This makes these slim laptops among the lightest and thinnest Ultrabooks in their respective performance or specification classes. Nevertheless, the model series is characterised by a good range of ports as well as plug-in RAM and SSDs. All laptops are available in black or silver.

Schenker Technologies is bringing the 16-inch premium Ultrabook SCHENKER VISION 16 Pro, in the M23 (Mid 2023) model version, up to the latest state of the art – featuring a fast Intel Core i7-13700H with 6 performance and 8 efficiency cores, as well as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 or 4060 as freely selectable configuration options, each with a GPU power of up to 95 watts (70 watts plus 25 watts Dynamic Boost 2.0).
What makes the VISION 16 Pro exceptional given this hardware configuration is its slim AZ91D magnesium chassis, measuring 354 x 245 x 17.1 mm and weighing just 1.6 kg: There is currently no lighter 16-inch ultrabook with a comparable combination of processor and graphics card; it is also one of the thinnest models in its performance class. The cooling system has been significantly upgraded. This includes larger, quieter fans developed from scratch, an additional heat pipe on the graphics card’s VRAM and MOSFETs, and liquid metal (Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut) to cool not only the CPU but also the GPU.
Thanks to these additional features, the Ultrabook is recommended both as a highly portable gaming laptop and as a high-performance content creation workstation. It can accommodate up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and two M.2 SSDs with fast PCIe 4.0 connectivity; thermal pads for both drives are pre-installed at the factory. Schenker Technologies also eliminates one of the biggest Ultrabook annoyances: despite the slim design, all storage components are plug-in and therefore upgradeable and replaceable rather than soldered in place. The 16.0-inch IPS display in 16:10 format has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, covers 95 per cent of the sRGB colour space, has a brightness of 350 cd/m² and a refresh rate of 240 Hz – with an optional 60 Hz power-saving mode.
The internally screwed-in and therefore replaceable battery is generously sized at 80 Wh.
In terms of connectivity, the laptop features both Thunderbolt 4 and USB-C (3.2 Gen2x1), each with an integrated DisplayPort stream. The Thunderbolt 4 port supports Power Delivery for use with a USB-C travel power adapter; by default, the laptop is charged via a 180-watt power adapter with a round plug. The dimensions and weight of the new model have been significantly reduced to 113.5 x 64.5 x 23 mm and just under 500 g. In conjunction with the HDMI 2.0 port, which is also present and connects to the efficient iGPU, up to three additional monitors can be connected natively. Two USB-A (3.2 Gen1) ports, a 2-in-1 audio jack and a card reader for full-size SD cards complete the feature set.
Like its predecessor, the M23 model generation also features a full-size keyboard with a dedicated numeric keypad, large arrow keys, an Fn-Lock function for permanently switching the F-keys to their secondary functions, and two-level adjustable white backlighting. The centrally positioned, Microsoft Precision-compliant glass touchpad measures an impressive 154 x 100 mm and offers smart additional features: a double-tap function to deactivate the entire touchpad or the right-hand half, as well as automatic palm detection to prevent accidental input errors.
SCHENKER VISION 16: More affordable non-Pro version with Intel Iris Xe graphics chip
As a more compact model, the SCHENKER VISION 16 (M23) is available exclusively with Intel’s Core i7-13700H and the integrated Iris Xe graphics unit. This reduces the total weight of the lightweight and slim laptop to 1.5 kg. The chassis dimensions and material, storage and connectivity options, as well as the input devices and display, are largely identical to the Pro variant. The standard power supply delivers 120 watts. For local video playback, the efficient hardware, combined with the 80 Wh battery, provides just under 11 hours of continuous runtime (150 cd/m², energy-saving profile).

In the 2023 model version, the SCHENKER VISION 14 also receives an update to Intel’s Core i7-13700H. It shares the lightweight AZ91D magnesium chassis with the larger VISION 16. Equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Refresh with 6 GB GDDR6 VRAM, which offers GPU performance of up to 50 watts
(45 watts plus 5 watts Dynamic Boost 2.0), the slim 14-inch ultrabook, measuring 308.8 x 215 x 16.6 mm, weighs in at 1.33 kg. In the other configuration available, which relies exclusively on Intel’s efficient Iris Xe graphics unit, the laptop weighs just 1.28 kg. The dual-fan cooling system remains unchanged, with liquid metal used as the thermal interface material on the CPU.
The VISION 14 stands out thanks to its internally secured 99 Wh battery: no other 14-inch Ultrabook with comparable dimensions and a similarly low weight offers such capacity. For local video playback (150 cd/m², power-saving profile), both the model with the RTX 3050 Refresh and the model with the Iris Xe graphics unit offer a runtime of around 12 hours and 30 minutes. The highlights of this compact ultrabook continue to include the high-resolution, anti-glare 16:10 IPS display with 2,880 x 1,800 pixels, a brightness of 380 cd/m², 99% sRGB colour space coverage and 90 Hz technology. The VISION 14 also offers the option to swap or upgrade the memory and SSD, and features an M.2 slot connected via PCIe 4.0 and equipped with a thermal pad, as well as two SO-DIMM slots for up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM.
Considering that this is a compact 14-inch ultrabook, the range of ports is generous and includes a DisplayPort and Power Delivery-capable Thunderbolt 4 port, USB-C (3.2 Gen2x1, only on the RTX 3050 configuration including DisplayPort functionality), two USB-A ports (3.1 Gen1), HDMI 2.0, a card reader for full-size SD cards and a 2-in-1 audio jack. The laptop is charged via a 150-watt (RTX 3050) or 120-watt (Iris Xe) power adapter; alternatively, it can also be charged via Power Delivery using a travel power adapter connected to the Thunderbolt 4 port. The 130 x 80 mm glass touchpad meets the Microsoft Precision standard, and the keyboard, which features white backlighting, includes an Fn-Lock function to permanently switch the F-key assignments to their secondary functions.
Prices and availability
The SCHENKER VISION 16 Pro, VISION 16 and VISION 14 (M23) Ultrabooks, which can be freely configured at bestware.com, are available to order and for delivery now; only the VISION 14 model with the RTX 3050 Refresh configuration is expected to be in stock from the end of July.
The base configuration includes an Intel Core i7-13700H, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, a 500 GB Samsung 980 SSD, 16 (2x8) GB DDR5-4800 RAM and a WQXGA IPS display with a 240 Hz refresh rate. The starting price, including 19 per cent VAT, is €2,099. A faster GeForce RTX 4070 is available for an additional charge (+€295).
In contrast, the is available exclusively with Intel’s Iris Xe graphics chip and starts at €1,549.
Finally, the base configuration of the for a starting price of €1,499 includes an Intel Core i7-13700H, an integrated Iris Xe graphics unit, a 500 GB Samsung 980 SSD, 16 (2x8) GB DDR5-4800 RAM and a 3K IPS panel with 90 Hz. A dedicated GeForce RTX 3050 Refresh with 6 GB of GDDR6 VRAM adds an extra €275 to the price.
