While the conventional high-end cooling system of this laptop is already able to permanently get the maximum performance out of the components, an upgrade by the OASIS ensures significantly reduced CPU and GPU temperatures with unmatched quiet operation, even under full load. Additional optimisations in the laptop interior help the water cooling to dissipate the processor's excess heat even more efficiently.

With its 99 Wh battery, the XMG NEO 17 integrates a true capacity giant with the maximum allowable for unrestricted mobile laptop use. Smart efficiency features such as NVIDIA Advanced Optimus ensure even longer runtimes: If the dedicated graphics card is not required, the display connection automatically switches to the economical, integrated Intel Xe graphics unit without rebooting. Three adjustable charging profiles can be used to determine charging speed and maximum charging capacity to minimize natural battery wear.

The display lid and bottom case of the XMG NEO 17 are made entirely of torsion-resistant aluminium and, in combination with the non-slip Grip-Touch surface in the area below the keyboard, make the laptop a stable and ergonomic companion. On request, RGB light bars in the area of the air outlets ensure a chic gaming look. The precise glass touchpad has a huge 15 x 9.5 cm sliding surface and automatic detection of placed palms to prevent accidental inputs.

The XMG NEO 17 not only offers extensive interface equipment, but also distributes it smartly. All ports for larger plugs are therefore located on the back, including the power supply connection, HDMI 2.1, the 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet and the Thunderbolt 4 port, which also integrates full specification USB 4.
