Automatic display switching
Thanks to Advanced Optimus, the laptop automatically switches the display connection between the dedicated NVIDIA graphics chip and the highly efficient, integrated GPU of the processor during operation. Depending on the application, the SCHENKER KEY 17 Pro thus either calls up the maximum performance or works with optimum efficiency and consequently achieves a longer battery life. As an alternative to Advanced Optimus, it is possible to switch the display connection manually via a MUX switch.

Its generous connectivity makes the SCHENKER KEY 17 Pro the ideal choice both at a stationary workplace and on the move. Alongside two USB-A and two Thunderbolt 5 ports with integrated DisplayPort stream, there is an HDMI 2.1 and a Mini DisplayPort 1.4a, each with dGPU connection. The laptop allows you to drive up to three external monitors and the internal display simultaneously. Separate audio jacks for headphones and microphone (with S/PDIF support), a Windows Hello-compatible Full HD webcam with noise reduction as well as fast 2.5 Gigabit LAN and optional Wi-Fi 7 round off the extensive features.

Thunderbolt 5 not only supports lightning-fast external SSDs but also multifunctional docking stations, enabling seamless connection of all peripherals to the laptop with just one cable – be it input devices, monitors, networks, or printers.

In line with the uncompromisingly implemented high-end concept, the SCHENKER KEY 17 Pro allows maximum expansion with up to three M.2 SSDs - more than enough to always have even the most extensive data libraries at hand. The primary slot supports the future-oriented PCI Express 5.0 standard - for even faster read and write operations. In addition, the high-performance workstation has two sockets for up to 96 GB of plugged-in DDR5 RAM and can be upgraded later if required.

Thanks to the clearly defined pressure point, the keyboard delivers a high level of input comfort and is always easily useable even in dark environments: A multi-level adjustable per-key LED backlight allows free colour selection. A convenient Fn lock enables permanent switching of the F keys to their secondary functions. The upgraded, high-quality touchpad is characterised by maximum precision and excellent gliding characteristics.
